Overview:-
GST registration is the process which taxpayers follow to register themselves for the Goods and Services Tax (GST). It is mandatory for businesses to obtain GSTIN on crossing the Threshold limit mentioned in the Act. However, a person can apply for GSTIN without crossing the Threshold on Voluntary basis as well. Once the registration process is completed, the Goods and Services Tax Identification Number (GSTIN) is provided.
