The import export code, or IEC, is a 10-digit identification number issued by the Government of India's Director General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), Department of Commerce. Also known as the Importer Exporter Code. Before starting a business that deals with import and export in Indian Territory, businesses and corporations must obtain this code. Without this code, no export or import transactions can be completed.

Documents Required:-
The following documents are necessary for IEC Code Registration:
- PAN Card copies are owned by an individual, a business, or a company.
- Voter identification, an Aadhar card, or a copy of a passport.
- Copies of recent bank accounts with canceled checks from people, businesses, or firms.
- Copy of the premises or of the rent agreement or electricity bill.
- A self-addressed envelope for registered mail delivery of the IEC certificate.
